McDonald's promises to keep lowering prices if you'll keep eating it.
The fast food chain McDonald's stated their intent today to keep lowering the already shockingly low prices on their value menus if customers are willing to eat the "food" items, according to unreliable sources. As it stands, a double hamburger or chicken sandwich can already be had for less than a dollar, but the fast food giant is willing to slash prices even more if customers can stomach the degradation in quality than will require.
"We don't feel it's our place to judge how much our customers are willing to stretch their family budgets," a spokesman said. "If they are willing to sacrifice a few amenities to save the money, then we want to provide them a menu that fits with that fiscal philosophy."
The amenities, he went on to explain could be a variance in anything from the grade, quality, and freshness of the beef, to the overall hygiene level of the human, robot or animal who are putting the order together. Here are some illustrations of how the different tiers of value menus may look:
